The beach clubs in Halkidiki go by a different name. Locals call them beach bars, and there are fourteen worth knowing across this three-fingered peninsula in northern Greece. The scene splits cleanly between two legs, Kassandra and Sithonia.
Kassandra is the lively one, a mix of family beaches and Sunday-afternoon parties, and the easiest to reach from Thessaloniki. Sithonia is quieter and greener, with scenic bays like Vourvourou and Porto Carras.
Most bars charge a minimum spend rather than a flat sunbed fee. Expect about €4 to €10 for a lounger at low-key spots, and €25 to €30 per person at the busier ones. Season runs May to September, peaking in July and August.
Booking is usually by phone, WhatsApp or Instagram, with the Plazz platform covering a few Kassandra beaches. For the islands' bigger scenes, see our guides to beach clubs in Greece, Santorini and Crete.

Kassandra or Sithonia for beach clubs?
Kassandra has the bigger, busier scene and the easiest access from Thessaloniki, about an hour to the first beaches. It holds the party bars like Cabana Beach Club at Paliouri and Leuki Ammos, plus family coves and all-day spots.
Sithonia is the quieter, more scenic choice, better for calm bays and sunsets. Kohi Beach Bar at Porto Carras and Ethnik Beach Bar on Tristinika are the picks, with Talgo Beach Bar at Vourvourou turning into a concert venue on weekends.
What is the best beach club in Halkidiki?
For a party day, Cabana Beach Club at Paliouri is the headline act, known for its Sunday-afternoon sessions with international DJs. On Sithonia, Riviera Beach Bar near Nikiti runs the closest thing to a Mykonos-style afternoon.
For a polished beach day, Kohi Beach Bar sits on a Blue Flag beach at Porto Carras, and Achinos Beach - 7 Seas at Hanioti pairs sunbeds with a proper seafood kitchen. For low-key and cheap, Koursaros Beach Bar charges about €4 for a lounger.
