Beach clubs in Tenerife don't close for winter. All 22 on this list stay open year-round, which puts Tenerife in a different category from most clubs across Spain. The range runs from free-entry chiringuito spots on Las Teresitas to VIP daybeds and infinity pools in Costa Adeje.

The south coast is where most of the action is. Costa Adeje and Playa de las Américas have the highest concentration of clubs, with music, pools, and Balinese beds on offer most days of the week. Prices start low at the budget end and climb quickly once you get into premium territory.

Geography matters here. The south coast clubs are polished and tourist-facing. Head northeast to Las Teresitas for a local beach day, or northwest to Los Gigantes for the island's most dramatic setting.

The Tenerife tourism board covers the island's beach club scene if you want an official overview alongside this guide.

  • ★North coast classic >> Hotel Botanico
  • ★Santa Cruz base >> Iberostar Grand Mencey

Which area of Tenerife has the best beach clubs?

Costa Adeje has the most clubs and the most variety. You'll find Kaluna's infinity pool, Le Club's beachfront Balinese beds on Fañabé, and the upscale sunset sessions at Papagayo on Troya Beach all within a short stretch. La Caleta sits just south and has a more local, relaxed character.

Las Teresitas on the northeast coast near Santa Cruz has three side-by-side clubs on imported golden sand — the closest thing on the island to a proper Caribbean beach day. Los Gigantes in the northwest has just one club, but it's the best-reviewed on the island and worth the drive from the south.

What is the best beach club in Tenerife?

For food and setting, Restaurante Los Gigantes Beach Club is the standout. The cliffside location beneath the Los Gigantes rock face is unlike anything else in Tenerife, and the kitchen turns out genuinely good Spanish-Mediterranean food. It's the highest-rated club on this list.

For the full beach club experience with a pool, DJs, and daybeds, Kaluna Beach Club in Costa Adeje is the consistent pick. If you want production-level sunset sessions on an actual beach, Papagayo on Troya Beach is the one.

Monkey Beach Club

Sea-view terrace with cocktails at Monkey Beach Club, Playa de las Américas

Monkey Beach Club is the most-reviewed venue on the island. It sits on Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina in Playa de las Américas, with an elevated terrace looking out to sea. The crowd is young and international.

This isn't a traditional beach club — there are no sunbeds on sand. It's a cocktail and sushi bar with a DJ, and the elevated sea view is the whole draw.

It gets packed on weekends. Arrive before 6pm if you want a good spot for sunset. €€ pricing.

The sunset sessions are what it's known for. Mediterranean food and a beach location mean you can move from a long lunch into an evening session without leaving.

Book the VIP daybeds ahead if you're going on a weekend. It's the most expensive beach club on the south coast. €€€ pricing.

Infinity pool and sunbeds overlooking the Atlantic at Kaluna Beach Club, Costa Adeje

Kaluna Beach Club sits between Puerto Colón and Torviscas in Costa Adeje. The centrepiece is an infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic. It's one of the best-reviewed clubs on the island.

The Thursday Infinity Pool Party is the weekly highlight. A DJ and saxophonist play poolside, the hot tub fills fast, and pizza and cocktails cover the food and drink side.

The crowd ranges from couples to birthday groups to stag weekends. Reservations aren't required but are smart for Saturdays. €€ pricing.

Coqueluche

Sunset terrace at Coqueluche beach bar, La Enramada near La Caleta

Coqueluche is on the black sand coast at La Enramada, near La Caleta. The terrace faces west, and the sunset from here is one of the best on the island.

Live music plays most evenings. Paragliders land on the beach below, which adds something to the atmosphere. Sangria and aperitivo-style snacks are the main orders.

It's about a 10-minute drive from central Costa Adeje. No booking needed, but prime sunset tables fill up early. € pricing.

Palapa Beach Club

Sunbeds and ocean view at Palapa Beach Club, Playa de las Américas

Palapa Beach Club is on Avenida Francisco Andrade Fumero in Playa de las Américas. DJs play through the afternoon, and the sunset slot is the busiest time.

Mojitos, piña coladas, and smoothies are the popular orders. Families use it during the day, and the vibe shifts younger after 4pm. Free WiFi throughout.

It's one of the most affordable options on the south coast. A solid entry point if it's your first Tenerife beach club day. € pricing.

OA Beach Club

Oceanfront terrace at OA Beach Club, Playa de las Américas

OA Beach Club is on the oceanfront in Playa de las Américas, in a stretch popular with local surfers. The atmosphere is noticeably more relaxed than the party-forward clubs nearby. A resident DJ plays through the day.

The food menu runs to pasta and steak as well as lighter snacks. Hammock seating on the main terrace and a bar upstairs give you different options. Sunset here is worth planning around.

Family-friendly with a kids area. €€ pricing. Reservations accepted.

Le Club

Balinese beds on the sand at Le Club, Playa de Fañabé, Costa Adeje

Le Club is directly on the sand at Playa de Fañabé in Costa Adeje. Balinese beds and beach access are the main draws. It's one of the few venues on the south coast where you go from sunbed directly onto the beach.

Live music and weekend DJ sessions bring a dressed-up crowd. The restaurant does Mediterranean food with decent sea views. Water sports are available from the beach.

Book the Balinese beds ahead, particularly on weekends. €€€ pricing.

Torviscas Beach Club

Live music and sunset at Torviscas Beach Club, Playa de Torviscas, Costa Adeje

Torviscas Beach Club is on Playa de Torviscas in Costa Adeje. It operates more as a premium chiringuito than a full-scale club, and it's one of the best-reviewed venues in this area. Parasols, hammocks, and loungers sit directly on the beach.

Live music plays regularly. The sunset views from the sand are consistently good, and the crowd is a steady mix of tourists and expats who come back regularly.

Reservations accepted. Genuinely good value for Costa Adeje. € pricing.

Fiji Beach Club

Weekend party setup at Fiji Beach Club, Playa de Fañabé, Costa Adeje

Fiji Beach Club is on Playa de Fañabé in Costa Adeje, right next to Le Club. Balinese beds and sunbeds line the waterfront. It's a more intimate setup than the larger clubs nearby.

DJs play on weekends, and the cocktail bar gets the most attention from regulars. The restaurant covers Mediterranean dishes.

A solid choice for couples or small groups who want beachfront access without the full party atmosphere. €€ pricing. Book the Balinese beds in advance.

Las Rocas Beach Club

Poolside sunbeds and ocean view at Las Rocas Beach Club, Costa Adeje

Las Rocas Beach Club is on Calle Gran Bretaña in Costa Adeje. Multiple pools, hammocks, and Balinese beds spread across different levels, with ocean views from most spots. It's more pool club with a view than a traditional beach setup.

Paella is the dish most reviews single out. DJs and live music play regularly, and the sunset slot is peak time. Towel service and buzzer ordering keep things convenient.

Reviews here are split, with service coming up in both directions. €€ pricing.

Cocoa Beach Club

Cocktails and DJ setup at Cocoa Beach Club, Costa Adeje

Cocoa Beach Club is in the Centro Comercial area of Costa Adeje. The DJ plays through the afternoon, and the sangria and mojitos get more mentions in reviews than anything else on the menu.

It's family-friendly with a kids area and accessible entry. Pizza and cocktails keep it simple. The vibe is casual and holiday-focused.

One of the better-reviewed budget options in the area. Parking available nearby. € pricing.

Bahia Beach

Evening entertainment at Bahia Beach, El Palm Mar

Bahia Beach is in El Palm Mar, a quieter residential area south of Costa Adeje. Karaoke nights and live entertainment give it a neighbourhood feel that's different from the main tourist strip.

The sea-view terrace is well maintained, and cocktails and pizza are the main orders. Works well for families and couples staying in the El Palm Mar area who don't want to travel far.

Reservations accepted. Parking available. €€ pricing.

Sueño Azul Beach Club

Pool and ocean views at Sueño Azul Beach Club, Callao Salvaje

Sueño Azul Beach Club is in Callao Salvaje, about 15 minutes north of Costa Adeje. The pool is the social hub, with music running through the afternoon and into the evening. Italian food and paella are the menu highlights.

It's pet-friendly and family-friendly with a kids area and free WiFi. One of the few club options on this stretch of the coast.

If you're staying in Callao Salvaje or Playa Paraíso, you'll end up here. € pricing.

A handful of clubs sit outside the main Costa Adeje concentration. These are worth knowing about if you're staying further south or want a quieter afternoon.

Roca Blanca Beach Club & Restaurant

Pool and Balinese beds at Roca Blanca Beach Club, Los Cristianos area

Roca Blanca Beach Club & Restaurant is on Avenida Juan Carlos I in Arona, near Los Cristianos. The pool is the centrepiece, surrounded by Balinese beds and sunbeds. There's no direct beach access, but the pool setup compensates.

Burgers and paella are the most-ordered dishes. The sunset views over the ocean come up consistently in reviews.

One of the better options in the Los Cristianos area. €€ pricing.

Bocana Beach Club

Beachfront setting at Bocana Beach Club, Gran Tacande hotel, Costa Adeje

Bocana Beach Club is at the Gran Tacande Wellness & Relax hotel in Costa Adeje. The setup is more upscale-resort than party club, with a fine dining restaurant and a quieter, smaller atmosphere.

Family-friendly with a kids area. Reservations accepted. €€ pricing.

Restaurante The Beach Club

Luxury beachfront dining at Restaurante The Beach Club, Ritz Carlton Abama, Guía de Isora

Restaurante The Beach Club is at the Ritz Carlton Abama in Guía de Isora, reached via a cliff-side elevator down to its own private beach. It's the most exclusive setting on this list.

The food is upscale, and the location is hard to beat. Service reviews are polarised, with slow delivery and high resort pricing coming up alongside genuine praise for the setting.

Worth considering if you're staying at the hotel or want a luxury half-day out. The drive from Costa Adeje takes about 20 minutes. €€ pricing.

Head west and the island changes entirely. The cliffs at Los Gigantes rise hundreds of metres from the sea, and the single club at their base is the best-rated on the island.

Restaurante Los Gigantes Beach Club

Cliffside dining at Restaurante Los Gigantes Beach Club, Los Gigantes

Restaurante Los Gigantes Beach Club sits at the base of the Los Gigantes cliffs on Calle los Guíos. The towering rock face creates a backdrop you won't find anywhere else on the island. It's the highest-rated beach club in Tenerife.

The food is the main reason to come. Arroz caldoso, arroz negre, and gyozas get repeated mentions. The kitchen runs a Spanish-Mediterranean menu with some Asian touches, and the cocktails and sangria are consistently good.

It's pet-friendly and family-friendly with a kids area and parking on site. Reservations are recommended, particularly on weekends.

The drive from Costa Adeje takes about 30 minutes. Reviewers consistently say it's worth it.

Across the island on the northeast side, Las Teresitas is the best natural beach in Tenerife. The sand was imported from the Sahara, and the three chiringuito-style clubs here are cheaper, calmer, and more local than anything in Costa Adeje.

El Caracol Beach Club

Sunbeds on golden sand at El Caracol Beach Club, Playa de Las Teresitas

El Caracol Beach Club is at quiosco 8 on Playa de Las Teresitas, near Santa Cruz. It's the most popular of the three clubs on this beach and the one with the most consistent reviews.

Mojitos, cocktails, and creamy rice dishes are what regulars order. Hammocks, parasols, and loungers on the sand make it a proper beach day.

Packed with locals on weekends. Reservations accepted. Parking available at the beach. € pricing.

Bambú Beach Club

Hammocks and parasols at Bambú Beach Club, Playa de Las Teresitas

Bambú Beach Club is at quiosco 7 on Las Teresitas, directly next to El Caracol. Hammocks, parasols, and deck chairs on the sand. The setup is near-identical.

Brunch, mojitos, and Canarian potatoes are what regulars recommend. Free WiFi and a kids area make it practical for families.

Slightly less polished than El Caracol but easy to enjoy for a full day on the beach. € pricing.

La Isla Beach Club Playa de Las Teresitas

Deck chairs and ocean view at La Isla Beach Club, Playa de Las Teresitas

La Isla Beach Club is the third option on Las Teresitas. Live music on weekends adds energy. Mojitos, calamari, nachos, and gambón are the popular orders, and the mojo sauce gets specific praise.

Parasols, hammocks, and deck chairs on the sand. Family-friendly with a kids area.

All three Las Teresitas clubs are within walking distance, so you can try more than one in a day. € pricing.

The north coast has a completely different character. It's greener and cooler than the south, and the beach club scene here is smaller and more low-key.

If you're spending time up here, Gran Canaria and Lanzarote are worth combining into the same trip.

Andana Beach Club

Live music and ocean views at Andana Beach Club, Puerto de la Cruz

Andana Beach Club is in Puerto de la Cruz on the north coast, the largest club outside the south. A full calendar covers live music, DJ sets, sunset sessions, and weekend brunch events.

Cocktails and the music programme are what come up most in reviews. The seafront setting on Avenida Francisco Afonso Carrillo works well at sunset.

Kids area and parking make it practical. Puerto de la Cruz has a less touristy feel than the south coast, and Andana fits that energy. €€ pricing.

Costa Mágica Beach Club

Sunset dining at Costa Mágica Beach Club, Valle Guerra

Costa Mágica Beach Club is in Valle Guerra on the northeast coast, well off the tourist trail. The remote coastal location on Camino la Costa is the main appeal.

Live music, DJs, and a brunch menu cover the entertainment side. Pet-friendly and family-friendly with free WiFi and parking. €€ pricing.

Frequently asked questions about Tenerife beach clubs

How much do beach clubs in Tenerife cost?

Prices range from under €20 for a sunbed and drinks at budget spots like Palapa and El Caracol on Las Teresitas, to €30-60 per person at mid-range Costa Adeje clubs like Kaluna. Premium venues like Papagayo and Le Club push well past €100 once you factor in VIP daybeds and minimum spends.

Do you need to book beach clubs in Tenerife in advance?

Most clubs accept walk-ins, but reservations make sense at Papagayo, Le Club, and Restaurante Los Gigantes Beach Club on weekends and during the December to March peak season. The Las Teresitas clubs and the more casual spots on the Playa de las Américas strip rarely need advance booking.

Are beach clubs in Tenerife open all year?

Yes. Tenerife's warm climate means most beach clubs stay open twelve months a year, unlike seasonal venues on the Spanish mainland. Some clubs reduce entertainment schedules in quieter months, typically May and October, but remain open. The December to March peak brings the biggest crowds, mostly northern Europeans.

Are Tenerife beach clubs family friendly?

Most are. Over half the clubs on this list have a dedicated kids area, including Palapa, OA Beach Club, El Caracol, Bambú, and Andana in Puerto de la Cruz. The three clubs on Las Teresitas are particularly good for families. Papagayo and Monkey Beach Club lean more adult-focused on weekend evenings.
