The beach clubs in Corfu aren't one strip. They're scattered across four coasts, and locals mostly call them beach bars rather than clubs. There are 13 worth knowing, from free-sunbed party bars in the south to upscale scenic loungers on the northwest cliffs.
Many Corfu beach bars still hand you a free sunbed if you eat and drink, so the day cost is often folded into food spend. Where clubs do charge, a sunbed and umbrella set runs about €15 to €40. Season is May to October, peaking in July and August when the marquee spots take reservations.
The east coast around Dassia and Barbati is the most developed strip. The scenic clubs sit on the northwest around Paleokastritsa, Glyfada on the west coast is the sunset and party hub, and Marathias in the south is the up-and-coming stretch. What is the best beach club in Corfu?
It depends on the day you want. For a Balearic sunset party, Pazuzu on Glyfada is the island's headline club, with a Funktion-One rig and international DJs. For dining by the water, Callao Corfu at Kalami won a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice award in 2024.
If you're after upscale and scenic, Akron Beach Bar at Paleokastritsa pairs luxury sunbeds with a small pool. For a late night on the sand, Edem Club at Dassia has been voted into the top ten beach clubs in Greece.
Which part of Corfu has the best beach clubs?
The northeast strip around Dassia and Barbati is the most developed, home to the island originals like Malibu Summer and Edem Club. The northwest around Paleokastritsa holds the scenic ones, where Akron Beach Bar and the cliff cove of La Grotta sit above turquoise water.
Glyfada on the west coast is the sunset and party hub, and Marathias in the south is the newer, free-sunbed stretch. If you're island-hopping onward, the black-sand clubs of Santorini are a different scene entirely.
Callao Corfu

It's easygoing and family-friendly, one of Corfu's originals. Open 10am to 8pm daily through the season.

Edem Club

Edem Club has sat on the shore of Dassia beach since 1988 and has been voted into the top ten beach clubs in Greece. It opens at 1pm for coffees and snacks, drifts through an afternoon chill-out, then builds to international DJs from 11pm playing house, latin, and progressive.
It's chilled by day and clubby by night, with a crowd that comes for the sound system and the fresh-fruit cocktails. Think day beach bar that turns into a proper club after dark.
The spend is drink-led, roughly €25 to €45 for a night out. €€ pricing.

It's the upscale, scenic pick on the northwest coast, relaxed by day and an elegant seaside restaurant under the stars at night. Open daily from 9am till late.
Reservations help in high summer, and the food and cocktail spend runs at the upper end. €€€ pricing.
Aragosta Beach Club

Aragosta Beach Club is a design-led spot on Paleokastritsa beach, part of Aragosta Suites, overlooking clear turquoise water. The name is Italian for lobster, a nod to the area's fishing history.
It's an all-day setting of loungers, Mediterranean food, and cocktails, aimed at a calm, relaxed crowd rather than a party one. This is the quieter, refined choice on the northwest coast.
Reservations are taken, with an upper-mid food and cocktail spend. €€€ pricing.
La Grotta

La Grotta is a bar built into the rock in a steep cove below Paleokastritsa, reached down a staircase of more than 100 steps and running since the 1960s. Clear water sits hemmed by limestone walls, and it's popular for swimming, snorkelling, and cliff-jumping by day, then sunset cocktails at night.
It's more of a natural swim cove with a bar and a few loungers than a full sunbed club, but it's one of the most iconic spots on the island. The crowd skews young and adventurous.
Entry is free, so you pay only for drinks and snacks at the bar. € pricing.
Pazuzu

Pazuzu is an open-air beach club on the soft sand of Glyfada, one of Corfu's best sunset beaches on the west coast. It has two bars, a large restaurant, and a lounge club area, with a Funktion-One sound system and a summer roster of international DJs.
The formula is bohemian sunbeds and cocktails by day, then a Balearic party atmosphere as the sun sets. It's the island's main beach club and pulls a young, energetic crowd.
Reservations run through Resy, with table and bottle spend at night. €€€ pricing.
Bodega Beach Bar

Bodega Beach Bar is a relaxed spot on the long sandy Kontogialos beach near Pelekas, just south of Glyfada on the west coast. Sunbeds sit on the sand with drinks and snacks brought to you, and there are comfy sofas up in the bar.
The mood is chilled and easygoing, with good cocktails, DJ music, and generous, well-priced snacks like burgers and chicken fingers. It's a good-value alternative to the busier Glyfada scene next door.
Sunbeds are affordable and the drinks are reasonable, so a day here won't cost much. €€ pricing.
Wave Beach Bar

Wave Beach Bar is on the long sandy Marathias beach in the south, one of the best-known beach bars on the island with a young crowd. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free, and there's cold coffee, cocktails, snacks, and a full menu.
It's the party pick down south, hosting big international DJs through the summer. The vibe is lively and the beach is broad enough to soak up a crowd.
With free sunbeds, the spend is just drinks and food, roughly €20 to €40 for the day. €€ pricing.
Armeno Lounge

Armeno Lounge is the beach lounge of the Armeno Resort, the only hotel on Marathias beach in south Corfu. It has free sun loungers and large comfortable beds on the long sandy beach, signature cocktails, and a Mediterranean restaurant overlooking the sea.
It's calmer and more comfortable than the party bars nearby, and it's better set up for a full-day lunch. It also makes a good sunset spot.
Loungers are free, with boutique-hotel food and drink prices. €€ pricing.
Emerald Beach Bar

Emerald Beach Bar is the beach bar on the private beach section of the five-star Angsana Corfu Resort near Benitses, on the southeast coast. A food-truck kitchen by the executive chef does snacks and local seafood, alongside smoothies, juices, and cocktails, and a watersports hut runs jet skiing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
It's upscale and family-friendly in a resort setting. Sunbeds and towels are free for resort guests, and a shuttle runs down to the beach.
Worth knowing: the sunbeds are geared to hotel guests, so this is best if you're staying at the resort. Food-truck and cocktail prices sit at the premium end.
Frequently asked questions about Corfu beach clubs
How much do beach clubs in Corfu cost?
Many Corfu beach bars still give free sunbeds if you eat and drink, so the day cost is often just your food and drinks. Where clubs charge, a sunbed and umbrella set runs about €15 to €40, and at Malibu Summer a set is around €34. The upscale dining spots like Callao Corfu run €30 to €50 a head.
Do you need to book beach clubs in Corfu in advance?
In July and August, yes, for the marquee spots. Pre-book sunbeds or a table at Piedra del Mar, Akron Beach Bar, and Pazuzu, which takes reservations through Resy. The free-sunbed bars at Marathias are more walk-up friendly, though front-row beds still fill on summer weekends.
Do Corfu beach bars charge for sunbeds?
Often not. Many still hand you a free sunbed if you order food and drinks, and spots like Wave Beach Bar and Armeno Lounge at Marathias keep loungers free. Where there is a charge, expect roughly €15 to €40 for a set with an umbrella, so ask before you sit down.
When is beach club season in Corfu?
The season runs May to October, peaking in July and August. That's when the marquee clubs run full hours, take reservations, and host their DJ nights. In spring and autumn expect reduced service or closures, so it's worth checking ahead outside high summer.
