The beach clubs in Ischia come in two flavours. There are the classic lidi that rent sunbeds on the island's sandy beaches, and the volcanic thermal gardens that pair steaming pools with a private stretch of sand. We cover nine of them here.
Prices swing hard. A basic lido on Maronti or at Sorgeto runs about EUR 10 to 15 a head for two loungers and an umbrella. Mid spots sit near EUR 35, while the flagship Giardino Eden at Cartaromana asks EUR 50 to 70.

Which Ischia beach clubs have thermal pools?
Four spots pair hot volcanic water with a beach day. Giardini Poseidon Terme on Citara has around 20 thermal pools above a long sandy beach, and Parco Negombo does the same on the pretty San Montano cove. What's the best beach club in Ischia for castle views?
Head to Cartaromana bay, which looks straight across at the Aragonese Castle. Giardino Eden is the polished pick, with four heated seawater pools and tiered day passes. Giardino Eden Beach Club
Giardino Eden is Ischia's smartest beach club, tucked into Cartaromana bay with the Aragonese Castle filling the view. You reach it by road or by taxi boat from Ischia Ponte.
Four heated seawater pools run from 26 to 35 degrees, spread across a rock solarium, sea decks and a pier. There's a pool bar and the Sea Restaurant for a full lunch. It's polished and design-led, aimed at couples and well-heeled day guests.
Day passes are tiered by where you sit, and towels are included. Expect EUR 50 for the park and pools up to EUR 70 for the rock solarium in high summer, dropping to EUR 30 to 45 in the shoulder months. Book ahead in July and August.

Gardenia Mare Beach Club
Gardenia Mare sits on the Sant'Anna rocks right beside Giardino Eden, with bright loungers and the same castle view across a calm bay.
It's known for fresh fish and snorkelling straight off the rocks. The day pass covers a reserved sunbed, a shared umbrella, changing rooms and showers.
Passes run about EUR 15 in April and May up to EUR 30 in August, with towels EUR 4 extra. Beach-only visits need a restaurant booking. Open May to late September, 9:30am to 6pm.
Bagno Ricciulillo
Bagno Ricciulillo has worked the Cartaromana shore for more than 60 years, with umbrellas and deckchairs on the sand and the castle in the background.
The kitchen is the real draw. Locals come for the lemon pasta and honest Mediterranean cooking at fair prices, and it runs events through the season.
It's the old-school, family choice on this bay, an easy walk or a short taxi-boat ride from Ischia Ponte. Sunbed and umbrella rates are set seasonally and aren't published online, so ask on the day. Booking is through their Instagram.
Parco Negombo
Parco Negombo wraps a thermal water park around San Montano bay, one of the island's prettiest swimming coves, on the north-west coast at Lacco Ameno.
Alongside the private sandy beach there are around a dozen themed thermal and sea pools set in botanical gardens. The Al FuGa restaurant and a couple of beach bars handle food and drinks.
A single day ticket covers both the pools and the beach, with loungers and umbrellas on the sand. Prices follow a seasonal list on the site, starting roughly EUR 35 and up. It's calm and landscaped, good for families and couples.
Giardini Poseidon Terme
Giardini Poseidon Terme is the largest thermal park on Ischia, terraced up the hillside above Citara beach at Forio on the west coast.
Around 20 thermal and hyperthermal pools spread across six hectares of gardens, plus three restaurants and a steam grotto. It also keeps 500 metres of sandy beach with its own beach club for loungers and parasols.
One day ticket covers the pools and the beach, priced seasonally on the site from about EUR 35. Citara is the sunset beach, with several smaller lidi alongside if Poseidon is full. Best for families and spa-goers.

Lido F.lli Mattera is a 50-year-old lido on the sandy Chiaia beach, a short walk from the centre and harbour of Forio.
You rent sunbeds and umbrellas with direct beach access, hot showers, WiFi and a bar. The Seasons restaurant on the terrace does Mediterranean plates with local wines and a sunset view over the town.
The water shelves gently, so it suits families and younger kids. There are canoes and pedalos, plus accessible facilities. Book loungers online through the lido or Spiagge.it.
Hotel Club Scannella
Hotel Club Scannella sits at the foot of a cliff in Scannella bay on the quiet south-west coast, and its beach club is open to day guests.
Entry gets you three warm-water pools, one carved straight into the rock, a solarium and direct sea access for snorkelling. The on-site restaurant leans on traditional Ischia cooking.
It's one of the most photographed spots on the island for those natural rock pools. Day entry is around EUR 35 for the pools, a sunbed and a parasol. Quiet and scenic, best if you want calm over crowds.
La Sorgente
La Sorgente runs a small beach service on a wooden terrace over Sorgeto cove, the natural thermal bay near Panza where hot spring water meets the sea.
It hires umbrellas, loungers and changing cabins next to the free bathing in the warm rock pools, with a light-snack bar and restaurant. Access is down a long stair or by boat.
It's one of the cheapest spots on the island, with sunbeds from around EUR 15 a bed; some visitors report as little as EUR 5 for two loungers and a parasol. Booking is online through Spiagge.it. Best for a budget thermal soak.
Bar Ristorante Nettuno
Bar Ristorante Nettuno is one of the busier lidi on the long dark-sand Maronti beach at Barano, on the island's warmer south coast.
It rents sunbeds and umbrellas and runs a well-regarded seafood restaurant and bar, with hot showers on site. Maronti stretches about 3km, with free sections between the lidi.
Prices sit below the Cartaromana clubs, roughly EUR 35 for two sunbeds and an umbrella in high season. Reach it by road or by taxi boat from Sant'Angelo. Good for a long, low-key sandy day with the family.
