Where are the best beach clubs in Vieste?
The main cluster is on Scialara beach, along the Lungomare Enrico Mattei just south of the old town. Pizzomunno Beach Club, Pelikano and Lido Afrodite all line that sand under the monolith.
For something more design-led, Bellavita Beach Club sits about 4.5km south at Porto Nuovo bay. The rest are out on the peninsula: Lido San Matteo and Lido Oasi at Mattinata, and Lido del Piacere in the Baia di Sfinale toward Peschici.
What is the Scialara beach and the Pizzomunno?
Scialara, also called Spiaggia del Castello, is Vieste's main beach, three kilometres of soft golden sand running south below the old town. The seabed is shallow and sandy, which makes it good for families.
The Pizzomunno is the 25-metre white limestone rock standing at the north end of the beach. Local legend ties it to a fisherman turned to stone by grief, and it gives the beach and the flagship club their name.
Pizzomunno Beach Club
Pizzomunno Beach Club sits on the Scialara sand directly under the white monolith, opposite the Hotel Pizzomunno on the Lungomare Enrico Mattei. It's the most polished lido on this stretch, a spot for couples and day-trippers.

Pelikano Restaurant & Beach Club
Pelikano Restaurant & Beach Club is a food-led lido along the Lungomare Enrico Mattei, with straw umbrellas and white loungers on the sand. The kitchen is the draw here.

The peninsula's other clubs sit at Mattinata, the next bay south under Monte Saraceno. Lido San Matteo is a wood-built lido with the best sunset scene on this coast.
