Beach clubs in Rimini and the Romagna Riviera

Rimini isn't one beach club, it's a 16 km wall of numbered bagni. We cover eight beach clubs in Rimini and along the wider Romagna Riviera, from family lidos to Riccione's weekend party beaches.

A beach club here is a stabilimento balneare, a bagno known by its number, layering a restaurant, DJ and sport on top of standard sunbed hire. Open daily from roughly mid-May to late September. It suits a crowd that wants sport and music, not just a quiet umbrella. Book ahead for event nights.

Dolcevita 11 Beach Club & Restaurant

Dolcevita 11 Beach Club & Restaurant sits in quieter Viserba, north of central Rimini, tied to the Club del Sole Rimini Family Village.

Beach service runs beside volley and tennis courts and a supervised kids area. Evenings bring lounge music, live acts and aperitivo on the sand.

It's family-first and calmer than the Riccione clubs. Sunbed rates sit in the mid-range for the province, cheaper by the week. Reservations taken.

Bagno Tiki 26

Bagno Tiki 26 is Rimini's best-known bagno, running at Marina Centro since 1987 with more than a hundred umbrellas. It feels like a small village on the beach.

Sunbed hire sits alongside a proper seafront restaurant, cocktail bar, hydromassage tubs, an outdoor gym and a dog area. All-inclusive day packages bundle beds, gym, showers and an aperitivo.

The crowd is a mix of locals and tourists. Expect around €20 for an umbrella and two loungers mid-section, more for the front rows and packages. Book in July and August.

Bagno 81 No Problem

Bagno 81 No Problem is a Marina Centro bagno built around families.

There's a fenced play area for under-fives, babysitter slots, a large sand playground and a nursery cabin. Fine sand, palms, straw gazebos and hammocks fill the rest. Next door, Bagno 82 runs a dedicated dog beach as Rimini Dog No Problem.

This is the family pick, not a party spot. Sunbed rates are mid-range with weekly deals. Book for peak weeks.

Samsara Beach Riccione

Samsara Beach Riccione is the Romagna Riviera's best-known party format, in the Marano stretch of Riccione.

It runs as a beach and restaurant by day, then flips to beach parties every Saturday and Sunday from 5pm. There's a panoramic sea-view restaurant and table service for groups.

The crowd is young and dressed-up at weekends. Prices climb once table service and events start, well above a standard bagno. Book a table for party days. €€€

Mojito Beach Riccione

Mojito Beach Riccione spreads over 4,000 sqm at beach 137 in Riccione's Marano area.

It works as a full beach and restaurant during the day, with a panoramic seafood restaurant, then turns into a dance club after dark. Season runs May to September.

The summer crowd is lively. Day beds are mid-range, nights run club prices. Reserve for weekends. €€€

Marano Beach 135-136

Marano Beach 135-136 is a family-run stabilimento at beaches 135 and 136, formed from two historic bagni in Riccione's Piazza Goethe area.

There are two pools, kids play areas, whirlpool tubs, beach volley and tennis courts, a snack bar and a dog area. The hosts run piadina-making sessions and team games for adults and children.

It's a calmer alternative to the neighbouring party beaches. Family rates are mid-range and you can reserve online. Good for a relaxed day on the sand.

Malindi Beach Cafe

Malindi Beach Cafe covers 10,000 sqm by the mouth of the Conca river in Cattolica, next to Parco Le Navi, at the southern end of the province.

It runs as an equipped beach and sea-view restaurant by day, then hosts beach aperitivos and dinners with live music and DJ sets in the evening. The look is design-led.
