The scene splits by mood. Berawa has the mega day clubs with pools, DJs and swim-up bars, while Batu Bolong and Echo Beach stay smaller and more surf-town. Which are the best beach clubs in Canggu?
For scale and party energy, Finns Beach Club and Atlas Beach Club on Berawa are the headline names, both marketed as the world's biggest or best. Cafe Del Mar Bali brings the Ibiza sunset formula to the same strip.
For something more relaxed, La Brisa Bali on Echo Beach is the boho sunset favourite, and Old Man's at Batu Bolong is the cheap surf-town classic on the sand. COMO Beach Club is the polished, family-friendly pick.
Are Canggu beach clubs free to enter?
Mostly, yes. Most Canggu clubs charge no fixed entry and instead set a per-seat minimum spend that you redeem against food and drink. Finns Beach Club, La Brisa Bali and Cafe Del Mar Bali all let you in free and only charge once you take a daybed.
The main exception is Atlas Beach Club, which charges walk-ins an IDR 150k entrance fee, swapped for a minimum spend if you book a seat. Booking a daybed online ahead of time is usually cheaper than paying on the day.
Finns Beach Club
Finns Beach Club is Canggu's flagship, a huge day club right on Berawa Beach that markets itself as the world's best. It's big, loud and young, built for all-day pool parties.
The site runs multiple pools including a swim-up bar, eleven bars, restaurants and a packed events calendar. Expect DJs, a party crowd and long lines at sunset.
General entry is free. Daybeds and premium seating carry a minimum spend, from about IDR 250k (roughly $16) for a single bed up to IDR 2.5M for the premium Finns seats. Book online ahead for the cheapest rate, and reserve for weekends.

Atlas Beach Club
Atlas Beach Club is the other Berawa giant, a 2.9-hectare complex billed as the world's biggest beach club. It turns into a super club after dark.
The numbers are the pitch: the longest pool in Southeast Asia at around 300m, a 1,000m standing bar, three restaurants, five bars and a rooftop. Nightly Balinese dance shows run around 6pm to 8pm.
Walk-ins pay an IDR 150k (about $10) entrance fee. Take a daybed or VIP seat instead and that swaps for a minimum spend, from IDR 500k in the day and IDR 1M after 4pm, credited to food and drink. Open 10am to midnight.
Cafe Del Mar Bali
Cafe Del Mar Bali is the Bali outpost of the Ibiza institution, on the Berawa and Tibubeneng stretch between Canggu and Seminyak. It leans Mediterranean and sunset-focused.
Multi-level pools, swim-up bars, a restaurant and resident DJs build through the afternoon toward golden hour. It's polished and party-minded without the sheer scale of Atlas.
Entry is free, with per-seat minimum spends redeemable in full against food and drink. Book before 3pm on non-event days for up to 50% off. Open 11am to 9pm.
Vue Beach Club
Vue Beach Club is the beachfront day club at LV8 Resort Hotel, at the northern end of Berawa Beach and open to non-guests. It's the gentler, cheaper end of the strip.
An infinity pool sits over the sand, with a restaurant, bar, daybeds and sunset DJ sets. The mood is relaxed, more couples and families than the big party crowds.
There's no entry fee and no online daybed booking, so it works as a walk-in, with a per-seat minimum spend from about IDR 500k (roughly $32). Open daily 7am to 10pm.

The Lawn Canggu
The Lawn Canggu is a compact beachfront lounge facing the Batu Bolong surf, more intimate than the big pool complexes. It's an in-the-know sunset spot.
It's built around low daybeds and a small pool, with drinks, food and sunset DJ sets. Arrive before sunset for a front-row spot.

Alternative Beach
Alternative Beach is a relaxed open-air pool club just off Batu Bolong Beach, built around a pool with daybeds, a bar and restaurant. It draws a chilled digital-nomad crowd.
It runs guest DJs, weekly pool parties and movie nights, at budget-friendly prices well below the Berawa mega-clubs. Open roughly 10am to 7pm outside special events.
It's the pick for a laid-back, cheaper pool day, with a low day-pass and per-seat spend on food and cocktails.
Old Man's
Old Man's is the Canggu institution on the sand at Batu Bolong, named after the surf break out front. It's more beer garden than day club, but it rents sunbeds, so it earns a place here.
It's all wooden communal tables, couches, beanbags and umbrellas, with cheap Bintangs, pub food and a busy calendar of live music and DJs. Salty Sundays is a fixture.
There's no entry fee, and a sunbed with an umbrella for two runs around IDR 150k (about $10). Cocktails are around IDR 85k and a small Bintang about IDR 25k. Open daily from 7am until late.
Further north again, Echo Beach (Batu Mejan) is the quieter, more boho end of the coast.
La Brisa Bali
La Brisa Bali is an eco-minded beach club on Echo Beach, built almost entirely from reclaimed wood and antiques for a nautical, boho feel. It's one of Canggu's most atmospheric sunset spots.
There's a saltwater pool, a raw bar and restaurant, cocktails and daily DJs, with daybeds and cabanas facing the surf. It draws couples and groups at golden hour.
There's no entry fee, and many seats carry no minimum spend before 4pm. Reserved daybeds and cabanas start around IDR 500k to 700k plus tax and service.
COMO Beach Club
COMO Beach Club is the beach club at the five-star COMO Uma Canggu on Echo Beach, styled as an upscale take on a surf shack. It's calmer and more grown-up than the Berawa clubs.
It centres on a pool facing the sand, a wood-fired grill kitchen, cocktails and daybeds. Kids' activities make it a solid family pick.
Non-guests can use daybeds with pool access by meeting a minimum spend, reported from about IDR 500k (roughly $32) up to IDR 1.5M. Entry is free, and dining reservations are worth making.
