Beach clubs in Punta Umbría come down to two options: Mykonos Beach Club for cocktails and music, El Tabla for beachfront seafood and sunset views.

This is a summer town, packed with families from Seville in July and August. Temperatures push 35°C and the population swells past 100,000. Both clubs open in late spring and close by early autumn, with prices well below Costa de la Luz resorts further east.

Mykonos sits near the Barceló hotel complex on Playa de los Enebrales. El Tabla is further along on Calle Gallareta. You can't walk between them comfortably, so if you're planning a trip along the Spanish coast, nearby Matalascañas makes it worth extending the trip.

The Punta Umbría tourist office covers local beaches, accommodation, and activities year-round.

What is the best beach club in Punta Umbría?

Mykonos Beach Club is the better pick for atmosphere and an evening out. It's consistently well-reviewed and delivers on cocktails and music. For food with your drinks, El Tabla is the stronger option.

The seafood and wine at El Tabla are what people talk about, and the beachfront location is hard to beat at sunset. The trade-off is a polarised reputation and prices that sit above the local average. Go to Mykonos for the party. Go to El Tabla for the dinner.

How much do beach clubs in Punta Umbría cost?

Punta Umbría is one of the more affordable beach club destinations on the Spanish coast. Mykonos is budget-friendly, with cheap drinks and no minimum spend.

El Tabla is mid-range by local standards. Budget around €20-35 per person for food and drinks. That's still significantly less than comparable spots in Marbella or Ibiza.

Mykonos Beach Club

Sunset cocktails and beachfront lounge at Mykonos Beach Club, Playa de los Enebrales

Mykonos Beach Club is a chiringuito on Playa de los Enebrales, near the Barceló hotel. It's the best-reviewed club in town and the one locals tend to recommend for an evening out.

Cocktails are the whole point. Mojitos and piña coladas lead the orders, and the bar peaks at golden hour when the sunset crowd arrives. Live music runs through the evening, and there's dancing when the night picks up.

Shisha is available too, which is rare for this stretch of coast. Pricing is budget-friendly and parking is free with plenty of spaces nearby. It's walk-in friendly most days, though summer weekends get busy.

Note: Mykonos is currently listed as temporarily closed. Call ahead on +34 622 88 66 67 or check the website before visiting.

El Tabla Beach Club

Beachfront terrace at golden hour at El Tabla Beach Club, Punta Umbría

El Tabla Beach Club is on Calle Gallareta, right on the beach. It runs as a restaurant and cocktail bar with sunbeds and outdoor seating facing the Atlantic. The sunsets here come up in almost every positive review.

The kitchen focuses on Huelva seafood. Tuna and corvina are the highlights, and the patatas aliñás are a regular order. The wine list is one of the better ones in town, and cocktails are the most-mentioned item overall.

It's open noon to 2am on weekdays and until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays. Prices sit above the local average, though most regulars feel the location earns it. Book ahead for lunch and dinner in high summer, and note that parking nearby is usually difficult.

Reception is genuinely split. Plenty of guests rate it among the best spots on this coast, while others flag inconsistent service on busy nights. A mid-week visit in shoulder season gives you the best shot.

It's family-friendly with a kids' area and high chairs, and fully wheelchair accessible throughout.
