Corsica has 14 beach clubs in Corsica worth knowing about, and almost none of them look like the mega-clubs you find in Ibiza or on the Riviera. The island does the paillote instead: a Corsican beach restaurant that puts sunbeds and lounge tables on the sand and serves the day's catch by the water.

The scene is small, seasonal and clustered. Most clubs run from April to October and peak hard in July and August, when loungers sell out days ahead. Which Corsica beaches have beach clubs?

Da Mare by Sea Lounge is the glossiest address on Palombaggia, a 1,500 square metre space with a restaurant, private beach, lounge areas and a cocktail bar. This is the closest Corsica gets to a Riviera-style club.

The Da Mare restaurant runs a tartare and ceviche bar with Mediterranean plates, led by chef Stephanie Ruelle. A resident DJ plays house into the evening, and there's beach service, private parking and a boat shuttle.

It hires sun loungers from about €30, with VIP beds on request, from April to October. This is the pricier end, so reserve for peak dates.

Playa Baggia

Playa Baggia has been a Palombaggia fixture since 2007, with a driftwood and thatched-roof look and tables set with your feet in the water. It's a relaxed all-rounder rather than a scene, and it works well for families.

The kitchen runs refined family cooking: local seafood, langoustines from the tank, grilled meats, tapas and homemade desserts. There's a cocktail bar, breakfast over the sea, and a boat service from the water.

Loungers and lunch are the draw here. Reservations are worth it in high summer.

Le Palm Beach Palombaggia

Le Palm Beach Palombaggia is an elegant private beach near Tamaricciu, pairing a refined restaurant with comfortable loungers for hire. Its own website is offline, so details come from the Porto-Vecchio tourist office and reservation platforms.

The kitchen runs Mediterranean cooking with fresh local fish and spiny lobster from the tank. It opens April to October from 9am, with lunch service and afternoon tapas.

Køstën Plage

Køstën Plage is a complete beach club on Santa Giulia, running from breakfast to the last cocktail with a restaurant, bar, snack bar and private beach. It's the spot on this bay that carries a day into the night.

Bar Plage

Oasis Santa Giulia

Oasis Santa Giulia is an eco-minded beach bar on Santa Giulia, built on local and organic produce and short supply chains. It's the laid-back, wellness-leaning option on the bay.

It hires loungers across four rows plus pergolas and beds, all bookable direct. Since 2025 there's a spa by Sothys with treatment cabins, a bubble sauna and a VIP relaxation area.

Open daily June to September, 10am to 6pm. Good for a slow day with a treatment built in.

Le Tiki chez Marco

Le Tiki chez Marco is a family institution on Saint-Cyprien beach at Lecci, founded in 1963 and now run as a restaurant, lounge and private beach. It's the anchor club just north of Porto-Vecchio.

There are panoramic terraces, glassed-in rooms and teak decks over the sand. The kitchen is Mediterranean: wood-fired pizzas, grilled meats, big salads and fresh fish, led by chef Alexandre Coute.

The restaurant runs 9am to 11pm, and the lounge with DJ goes late. This is the one to pick if you want a beach day that turns festive.

KOS Beach Club

KOS Beach Club is a modern beach club on the Route des Sanguinaires at Marinella beach in Ajaccio, with contemporary design and views toward the Sanguinaires islands. Its website is deactivated, so it now takes bookings by phone only.

The kitchen highlights local and Mediterranean flavours, with the catch of the day cooked over a wood fire. It runs a private beach with loungers and DJ sets in the evening.
