Sapphire Ocean Club
Sapphire Ocean Club sits a little further along Los Muertos, in the quieter Amapas stretch of the Romantic Zone. It's the more refined option, attached to a small boutique suites hotel.
You get a pool with an ocean view, cabanas, lounge chairs and towel service. The kitchen does breakfast and lunch, and the mood stays calmer than Mantamar down the beach.

Mangos Beach Club is the casual, family-friendly end of Los Muertos, over at Amapas 182. No day pass, no fuss.
You grab a beach chair or cabana and just order food and drinks to keep it. Towels cost 25 pesos, and the bar shows sports during the day. The menu covers breakfast through dinner.
It's open daily, roughly nine to six. This is the spot if you want the beach without paying for entry. Good for families and long, lazy afternoons.
Swell Beach Bar
Swell Beach Bar sits at the Amapas end of Los Muertos, the calmer stretch below the Romantic Zone. It's a laid-back beach bar by day.
Loungers, ocean views and a grill-focused menu make it an easy place to settle in. In the evening it shifts into more of a sit-down restaurant. The crowd is a mix of families and couples.

Táu Beach Club
