Are Bacalar's beach clubs on a beach or the lagoon?

Los Rapidos Bacalar

La Playita
La Playita has run on the central waterfront since 2012. It's a lagoon-front restaurant and beach club with a long dock that reaches into the turquoise water.
The menu is latin fusion, and there's no entry fee as long as you eat and drink. Hammocks and loungers line the shore, which makes it an easy swim-and-lunch spot rather than a full day-pass club.
Prices skew a little touristy, so expect around $20 or more per person once you've eaten. It gets busy at lunch, so come earlier if you want a spot on the dock.

Blu Beach Club
Blu Beach Club is the tidy, family-friendly option near Paraiso Bacalar. It sells a day pass at 500 MXN, around $30, which covers a cushioned lounger, a towel and 250 MXN of food and drink credit.
Kids under 10 get in free with a paying adult. There's a beachfront restaurant and bar, hot showers, lawn games and a kids trampoline, plus paddleboards to hire.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 7pm. There's no standalone website, so reserve by phone or through its social pages.
Bertilla Lagoon & Beach Club
Bertilla Lagoon & Beach Club is the Italian-run club tied to Pizzeria Bertilla. Overwater cabanas and daybeds are sold as timed packages that include a consumption credit.
Daybeds run 1,400 MXN for two, around $70, with 600 MXN of credit. Cabanas are 2,500 MXN for two, about $125, with 1,250 MXN of credit. There are kayaks, sailboat tours and live music.
Reservations are required, and there's no standalone booking site, so book by phone or Instagram. It's the stylish, unhurried end of the scene, good for couples and small groups.

Amura Bacalar is a cafe, restaurant and beach club on Calle 5, about a 20-minute walk from the main square. It has indoor and outdoor seating, comfy loungers and a private pier for swimming.
It works across the day, from breakfast and brunch to sunset drinks. There's no entry fee, so you pay for what you order, usually around $20 or more per person.

Maracuya Beach Club
Maracuya Beach Club is a food-truck park on the lagoon shore near Cenote Negro, about a 20-minute walk from the main square. More than ten kitchens share the site, with a dock and free entry.
