Playa Aruba sits right on the Paseo Marítimo in Torremolinos, a beachfront spot that leans more party than chill. It's one of the louder, more high-energy venues along the Málaga coast.
Premium sunbeds and hammocks line the sand. Hammocks come up in 110 reviews, so they're clearly a draw. DJs play regularly, there's dancing, and shisha is available. Expect a dress code and visible door security. Bachelor parties are a regular feature here, mentioned in 28 reviews. The vibe skews more nightclub than laid-back chiringuito.
The menu runs from brunch through dinner. Small plates, cocktails, beer, and wine make up the core offering. You can order food at the bar too. It's more of a drinks-and-bites setup than a full restaurant experience.
Reservations are required. There's a free parking lot on site, which is a plus for this stretch of Torremolinos. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Prices sit at the €€ level. Note: the venue is currently temporarily closed.
Rated 3.9 from 3,332 Google reviews. The scores are polarized, with 65% five-star ratings but 24% one-star. Fans love the atmosphere and staff. Critics mention a cold welcome, inconsistent food, and poor value for money.

Without a doubt, the best beach club. The staff is incredibly attentive and always makes you feel right at home. It's the perfect place for an afternoon out. The food is simply amazing; everything is delicious and prepared with attention to detail. It's a place you can completely trust. We always come back, and it never disappoints!
Everything leaves much to be desired. The welcome is very poor and cold; they practically don't want us to come in. The food is so-so, and the cocktail had mosquitoes in it. This is understandable given the sunny climate, but the problem is that when we asked for a change, they refused to accept it. The value for money is absolutely terrible.
