Playa Aruba is a beachfront party venue on the Paseo Marítimo in Torremolinos, a short drive from Málaga. It leans hard into the nightclub end of the beach club spectrum, with DJs, a dress code, and visible door security.
Premium sunbeds and hammocks fill the beachfront. The hammocks are a genuine draw and come up constantly in reviews. Shisha is available. Dancing is part of the setup. Bachelor parties book here regularly. This is not a laid-back chiringuito.
Reservations are required. There's a free parking lot on site with usually plenty of spaces, which is a real plus along this stretch of the Paseo Marítimo. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Prices sit at the €€ level. Note: the venue is currently listed as temporarily closed, so check before visiting.
Rated 3.9 from 3,332 reviews, but the split is sharp. Around 65% give five stars; around 24% leave one star. Fans rate the staff and atmosphere highly. Critics flag a cold welcome at the door, patchy food, and poor value for money.
The menu runs from brunch through to dinner. Small plates are the main format, with cocktails, beer, wine, and coffee making up the drinks list. You can also order food at the bar.
It's a drinks-led venue rather than a destination for food. The best reviews praise attentive preparation. The lower ones flag inconsistency. Don't come here primarily for a meal.
Prices sit at the €€ level, moderate for a beachfront venue. Expect to spend on cocktails and food rather than a cover charge. Some reviewers flag poor value for money, so factor that in before booking.

Yes. There's a free parking lot on site with usually plenty of spaces. That's a genuine advantage along this stretch of the Torremolinos seafront.

Without a doubt, the best beach club. The staff is incredibly attentive and always makes you feel right at home. It's the perfect place for an afternoon out. The food is simply amazing; everything is delicious and prepared with attention to detail. It's a place you can completely trust. We always come back, and it never disappoints!
Everything leaves much to be desired. The welcome is very poor and cold; they practically don't want us to come in. The food is so-so, and the cocktail had mosquitoes in it. This is understandable given the sunny climate, but the problem is that when we asked for a change, they refused to accept it. The value for money is absolutely terrible.
