Banana's Beach Club sits right on the beachfront along the Paseo Marítimo in Torremolinos. It's one of the most consistently visited spots along the Málaga coast for an all-day beach session on a budget.
The setup is sunbeds, hammocks, and umbrellas on the sand with a bar and restaurant behind. The hammocks are a big part of the appeal for regulars. An 80s soundtrack plays throughout the day with a DJ on busier sessions. The crowd is casual: families, groups, tourists, and dogs are welcome inside and out.
Cocktails are what people keep coming back for. Mojitos are a particular favourite. The drinks list also covers beer, wine, and coffee. Food runs from breakfast through to dinner, with burgers, small plates, and a salad bar. There's a kids' menu and healthy options for families. Prices sit in the €10-20 range.
Open every day from 11am to 6pm. Reservations are accepted and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Street parking along the promenade is free but usually hard to find, especially in summer.
Rated 4.4 from 2,240 reviews. It's a reliable regular stop for repeat visitors to Torremolinos, with the large majority of guests leaving four or five stars.
Cocktails are the main draw. Mojitos get consistent shoutouts from regulars, and the full cocktail list runs throughout the day. The bar also does a solid range of beer, wine, and coffee.

Detailed review scores rate the food at 5/5. One small note from regulars: the chips could use more seasoning.

Yes. There's a dedicated kids' area and a kids' menu. The crowd leans towards families, groups, and tourists, and the atmosphere is consistently described as casual and relaxed.
Free street parking is available nearby along the promenade, but it's usually difficult to find a space. Arriving early or using public transport is worth considering during peak summer months.

We regularly holiday in Torremolinos in January and always visit Bananas Beach Club as it has never let us down and we love the chilled out atmosphere and fantastic 80's sound track being played in the background. Bananas is located in a fantastic position right on the beach front and is ideal for people watching and catching some sun. In January 2026 we stopped for lunch and drinks. For lunch we ordered a burger each, a Bananas and an American. Both came cooked exactly as requested although the chips that accompanied them needed more seasoning. The only thing we really don't like and is a pet hate of ours is the "Couvert" bread rolls that they serve and charge you for whether you eat them or not, however they are only 1.40 Euro each. This is another of our solid go to restaurants when in Torremolinos and based on our latest visit we would return again in the future.
Well
