Restaurante The Beach Club sits inside The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama, right on the hotel's private beach along Tenerife's southwest coast. It's a beachfront restaurant with premium sunbeds, umbrellas, and full table service.
The vibe is casual for a five-star hotel property. Families, tourists, and groups make up most of the crowd. "Playa" comes up in 47 reviews, and the beachside setting is clearly the draw. High chairs and a kids' menu make it workable for families too.
Burgers are the most talked-about food item, mentioned in 22 reviews. Grilled sea bass and barraquito coffee also get praise. The menu covers brunch, lunch, and dinner with healthy options, small plates, salads, and a wine list that guests rate well. Beer shows up in 11 reviews, so it's not all fine dining.
Open daily from 11am to 7pm. Lunch reservations are recommended. Free street parking exists nearby but spaces are hard to find, so the hotel parking may be your best bet. Wheelchair accessible throughout.
Rated 3.4 from 382 Google reviews, and opinions are split. 174 guests gave five stars, but 113 gave just one. Service is the dividing line: some reviewers mention attentive staff, others report poor hospitality. Worth checking recent reviews before you go.

Super rude British host who is fluent in Spanish. She clearly has a problem with guests at the hotel, specifically those from the Retreat. I informed her that the concierge had made a reservation for us, and she responded with disdain. Gross. I cancelled our second set of plans there after that. Everyone deserves a basic level of respect. Shame on this place.
Very pleasant restaurant right by the beach. Excellent service by attentive staff. Fabulous grilled sea bass today and barraquito to finish.
