Papagayo Beach Club sits directly on Troya Beach in Playa de las Américas, right on Tenerife's busiest southern coastline. It runs as a beach club by day and a nightclub after dark.
Sunbeds and umbrellas line the sand with table service from the bar and restaurant. The terrace faces west toward La Gomera, La Palma, and El Hierro, so sunset is a big draw. The crowd is a mix of tourists and resort guests from the surrounding hotels.
The restaurant covers Canarian, Spanish, and international dishes. Seafood and grilled meats are the core of the menu. Expect to pay €30 to €50 per person for a full meal. The cocktail bar is a separate draw, with signature drinks in the €10 to €15 range.
After dark, live DJs play house, electronic, and Latin sets into the early hours. VIP areas with bottle service are available for groups. It's one of the few places in southern Tenerife where you go from beach to dance floor without changing venue.
Dinner service runs Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are recommended for evenings, especially June to September. Parking is available on site.
