Palapa Beach Club sits right on the beachfront in Playa de las Américas, on Tenerife's southern coast. It's a casual, budget-friendly spot that runs from brunch through dinner, with sunbeds and umbrellas lining the sand out front.
Sunset is the main event here. It comes up in 121 Google reviews, and the west-facing position means you get a clear view over the ocean. A resident DJ plays through the afternoon and into the evening, keeping the energy relaxed but present. The crowd is a mix of tourists, families, and groups.
The menu covers Mediterranean dishes across breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Bagels get mentioned often in reviews, along with mojitos, piña coladas, and smoothies. The drinks list includes cocktails, wine, and coffee. Kitchen hours end earlier than the bar, so don't show up late expecting a full meal.
Prices sit in the €10–20 range, which makes it one of the more affordable beach clubs in the area. The place is open daily from 11:30am to 10pm. Reservations are accepted, and there's free street parking nearby. It's fully wheelchair accessible, has a kids' menu and high chairs, and free wifi.
Rated 4.2 from 2,643 Google reviews. About 80% of guests give it four or five stars. Service and atmosphere score well in detailed ratings, though a few reviews mention the kitchen closing earlier than expected. If you're after a low-key sunset session without the high price tag, it's worth a look.

Didn’t get to try the food, they close their kitchen at 5 is what I was told. Service was great very friendly and professional. Wonderful place to watch the sunset
