Beach Club Menorca is a resort-style aparthotel on the bay at Son Parc, on Menorca's quieter north coast. The complex sits directly above the beach, with an outdoor pool, premium sunbeds, and a short walk to the sand.
The setting is the main draw. Bay views come up constantly in reviews, and the location away from Menorca's busier tourist strips keeps things genuinely peaceful. It's a popular base for families and couples who want the beach without the crowds.
Prices sit at the budget end of the Balearic market. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are included. You'll want a rental car since Son Parc is on the island's north side, away from the main towns.
Rated 4.0 from 1,608 reviews, with around 75% of guests giving four or five stars. Complaints tend to centre on dated rooms and occasional maintenance issues, but the location and value bring people back.
Looking for somewhere to stay in Son Parc? Here are our picks:
The on-site restaurant runs a buffet for breakfast and dinner, with a different theme each evening. It's a mixed picture in reviews but holds up well for the price point. A snack bar covers lighter daytime eating.
One thing guests specifically flag is the on-site supermarket. It's a genuine convenience if you're in an apartment with a kitchen, or you just want to pick up drinks without getting in the car. Several reviews mention it as a standout perk.
The bar is open through the day with standard drinks at prices that match the budget-friendly positioning.

It's budget-friendly for the Balearics, with rates around €78 per person. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are included, which adds further value. It's one of the more affordable options on Menorca with direct beach access.
It's a solid choice for families. Reviews mention children as young as 18 months enjoying the pool and beach. Sunbeds are generally available at the pool, the beach is a short walk, and the property has accessible facilities for guests with reduced mobility.
Yes, free on-site parking is available. This is particularly useful given the north coast location, since a car is almost essential for getting around the rest of the island.
The resort is about 20 minutes by car from Mahón. Public transport to Son Parc is limited, so a rental car is strongly recommended. The resort also offers an airport shuttle service if you arrange it in advance.
You can book directly through the hotel website at sonparchotelsmenorca.com, or call +34 971 18 80 82. Booking ahead is advisable in summer since it's a popular family spot and the quieter north coast has limited alternatives.

Positive aspects: Location away from the most frequented tourist areas. Great for those seeking tranquility. There are no large hotels spoiling the landscape, nor souvenir shops. The beautiful view of Son Parc beach and easy access to its sands. We went with a 5-year-old child and she loved the beach and the pool. As everything is close by, it was quite good for everyone. The pool always has sun loungers available and the water has a great temperature. Comfortable room, without noise. For a beach stay, the apartment is a good size. Friendly and helpful staff. Varied buffet for a 3-star hotel. Negative aspects: The air conditioning in the room did not work all week, which was quite disappointing. Even with a portable air conditioner provided by the hotel, the comfort was not as expected (very noisy and did not cool sufficiently). They had told us it would be fixed, but that did not happen. The TV worked poorly and did not have a single children's channel. The room lacks closet space for storing clothes and other items. Some common areas need maintenance to make the place more attractive. The buffet was varied, but the desserts were industrial. I booked an apartment with a sea view, even emailing the hotel to confirm this view. A sea view was confirmed. When we arrived, we found that we could see a little of the sea, but most of the view was of the garden and buildings. A bit disappointing.
This hotel is vastly underrated. After a few days here in September, we were pleasantly surprised by the place, especially considering the reviews. The rooms are admittedly a bit dated and could use some renovations. But the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, with a superb sea view, makes it well worth a visit. The beach is right next door, in addition to the hotel's swimming pool. A snack bar and a small supermarket are available, and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant, which receives many negative reviews, isn't actually that disappointing. It could always be improved, but there's a good selection and a different theme each evening. The staff is friendly, attentive, and responsive to requests. We traveled with an 18-month-old, and he absolutely loved it (even though there are a lot of ups and downs and stairs 😂). Having switched to a 4-star hotel for the second part of our trip, we much preferred this one. If you want to have some activity, it is important to rent a car on this side of the island, however.
