The Palms Beach Club is a pool-and-restaurant venue on Calle Monterrey in Orihuela Costa. Women-owned and genuinely family-oriented, it draws a relaxed crowd that's not looking for a party.
The pool is the main draw, with Bali beds along the deck. The vibe is calm here. No DJ, no loud music. If you want a quiet afternoon in the water with food on the side, this is a solid pick.
It's fully wheelchair accessible, LGBTQ+ friendly, and offers kids' discounts. Free street parking is nearby and cards or NFC payments are accepted. Worth calling ahead if you want a sun-facing Bali bed, as a few guests have arrived to find theirs in the shade.
Rated 4.4 from 525 reviews. The majority are happy, with 69% leaving five stars. A small share cite inconsistent food or sunbed placement not matching what they were told.
Fish and chips is what people come for. It's the most talked-about dish by some margin, and it's clearly what regulars return for. Sunday lunch draws a loyal crowd too.
The menu leans toward British comfort food rather than Mediterranean plates. The bar covers the standard poolside range. Service is a genuine plus here. Staff are frequently described as kind and attentive, and it comes up often enough to be a consistent strength.
Prices sit at the $$ level, in line with casual beach club dining rather than premium fine dining. The venue doesn't publish a full price list online, so it's worth checking ahead if budget matters.
It's worth calling ahead, especially for Bali beds. When you book, confirm the bed's sun exposure. Some guests have been told their bed is in the sun and arrived to find it in the shade.
Fish and chips is the signature dish and the most talked-about item in reviews. Sunday lunches are popular too. Food quality is generally well-rated, though a small number of reviews mention inconsistency.
Yes. There's a dedicated kids area, children's discounts, and full wheelchair accessibility throughout, including the entrance, restrooms, and seating.
Free street parking is available near the venue on Calle Monterrey. No on-site car park, but it's easy enough to find a spot on the street.

Paid over 800kr to lie in the shade. Asked in advance if the Bali bed is in the sun and they said yes. Otherwise quiet and peaceful. No DJ or party. Suitable if you want a chill vibe. Good food and very kind people there :)
Very poor experience. Food average and clientele definitely not what they were!!
