Amadores Beach Club & Spa is on Amadores beach in Puerto Rico, on Gran Canaria's southwest coast. It combines a pool, spa, restaurant and bar with direct beach access on one of the island's most popular stretches of sand.
The setup is beach-focused. Premium sunbeds, hammocks and parasols cover the beachfront area, and a DJ plays through the day. Families are well-served here, with a dedicated kids area and full wheelchair accessibility throughout the site.
It's open every day from 10am to 6:30pm, with free parking and free wifi included. Drinks run expensive compared to a casual beach bar, and the terrace offers limited shade, so it's worth planning around that.
Rated 4.4 from 4,551 reviews, with 65% awarding five stars and another 21% at four. Sunset views and the beach access get the most praise. Wind and drink prices are the most common complaints.
The restaurant is a full sit-down venue, covering lunch and afternoon dining. Categories span lounge and fine dining, so the menu leans more restaurant than snack bar. Cocktails are popular, with table service available to your sunbed or poolside.
The bar covers the usual drinks list alongside the cocktails. Prices are mid-range for the area. Expect to pay more than at a casual chiringuito, though a full spa and pool stay puts that in context.
Prices sit at €€ for the area, placing it in the mid-range. Drinks run on the higher side, and some guests have flagged this specifically. Free parking and free wifi are included, which helps if you're planning a full day.
You can contact the venue directly on +34 928 56 00 72 or through their website. For spa services or busy summer periods, it's worth checking availability in advance.
The club opens every day of the week from 10am to 6:30pm, including weekends and public holidays.
Yes. There's a dedicated kids area on site. The venue is also fully wheelchair accessible, with accessible entrances, parking, restrooms and seating throughout.
Free parking is available on site at the Puerto Rico, Las Palmas address. It's one of the few beach clubs in the area that includes parking at no extra cost.

Must visit to chill 😎 🤙
We only came here for a drink. There were no shady spots on the terrace overlooking the beach, so we sat in the courtyard on plastic bucket chairs that weren't very comfortable. The drink prices were high.
