Restaurant Perseverantia Beach Club is a Mediterranean restaurant and pool club in Costa de la Calma, on the southwest coast of Mallorca. The pool is the centrepiece, with hammocks and deck chairs arranged around it and bay views beyond.
Paella is what people come for, and the kitchen runs a full day covering breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. Live piano on some evenings adds a bit of atmosphere. Couples and families both make up the crowd, and there's a dedicated kids' area on site.
Budget around €20-30 per person. Reservations are accepted and worth making in summer. Parking is available but fills up quickly, so arriving early helps.
Rated 3.9 from 1,500 reviews. Most guests rate it well. The food gets more consistent praise than the service, with a handful of reviews mentioning pushy upselling from floor staff. The waiters themselves tend to get positive marks. The venue has been temporarily closed, so check ahead before planning a visit.
Paella is the signature. The kitchen covers the full day: breakfast and brunch for early arrivals, then a broader Mediterranean spread through lunch and dinner. A salad bar and vegetarian options are available alongside the main menu.
The bar runs cocktails, wine, beer, and coffee. Desserts also feature and are worth leaving room for. Late-night food is listed, which is less common for pool clubs in this part of Mallorca.
Prices sit at the €20-30 range per person, reasonable given the pool and bay setting.

Yes. There's a kids' area and a dedicated kids' menu. The pool setting works well for families, and the venue runs from breakfast through to dinner so you can make a full day of it.
Paid parking is available on site, but spaces fill up quickly in summer. The venue notes that finding a space is often difficult, so arriving early or considering alternative transport is worth thinking about.

The food was good and plentiful. The supervisor who took our order was rude and insulting. He constantly told us that there was little food (there were four of us). We're from the north and know a lot about fish, seafood, and grilled dishes. He wanted us to order another grilled dish. This was a mistake because we couldn't eat dessert, which all looked amazing, and we were left wanting more. The waiters were brilliant, attentive, polite, and professional. But we wouldn't go back, nor would we recommend it; there are many more and better restaurants.
