Aqu Xiri Beach Club is a beachfront chiringuito on Passeig Marítim in Badalona, just north of Barcelona. It's a budget-friendly spot with sunbeds, umbrellas and a kids area during the day, then DJs and late-night drinks on weekends.
The atmosphere is casual and a bit trendy. Music is a big part of the experience here, especially on Friday and Saturday nights when things run until 2:30am. Some guests love the party energy. Others find it too loud. Groups tend to take over the terrace in the evenings, while families stick to daytime hours.
Prices land in the €10-20 range, which makes it one of the cheaper beachfront options on Badalona's seafront. Reservations are accepted and worth booking for weekend tables. It's open daily from 9:30am.
Rated 3.2 from 166 reviews, and the scores are polarized. Nearly half are five-star ratings, but over a third are one-star. Service quality seems to be the swing factor. When it's good, people come back. When it's not, the reviews are brutal.
Tapas and small plates are the core of the menu. The kitchen serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, so you can eat here at pretty much any hour. Quick bites and counter service are available if you don't want a full sit-down meal.
Cocktails and beer are what most people order at the bar. Coffee is solid too, and there's a decent wine list. For a chiringuito at this price point, the drinks are a stronger bet than the food.
It's a budget-friendly spot. Expect to spend around €10-20 per person for food and drinks. Sunbed rental is separate. For a beachfront venue this close to Barcelona, the prices are low.

It is during the day. There's a dedicated kids area and the daytime crowd is relaxed. Evenings shift toward a louder, party-focused atmosphere with DJ sets, so families tend to visit earlier.
The venue has regular DJ sets, particularly on weekends. Music is one of the most discussed aspects in reviews. Friday and Saturday nights run until 2:30am with a party atmosphere.

We're giving it one star because we can't give it any. Everything was bad... the product, the cooking, the presentation, the reggaeton was so loud. The staff was more concerned with singing the ubiquitous reggaeton than being there for what they were supposed to be. We didn't leave earlier because we were with a person with reduced mobility...
