Artrutx Sea Club sits right next to the lighthouse at Cap d'Artrutx, on Menorca's southwestern tip. It's a restaurant and cocktail bar with rooftop seating, premium sunbeds, and direct views over the Mediterranean.
Sunset is the main event here. Over 1,000 reviews mention it, and the westward-facing position at the cape makes this one of Menorca's best spots for it. A resident DJ sets the mood most evenings, and the crowd shifts from families during the day to couples at golden hour.
The menu covers breakfast through dinner, with local specialties like red prawns and Mahón cheese making regular appearances in reviews. The cheesecake gets 98 mentions on its own, so it's clearly a hit. Aperitivo is popular too, with cocktails, wine, and small plates on offer.
Prices sit at €€, and entry includes a drink (around €15 per adult based on recent reviews). Booking ahead is essential, especially for sunset tables. The venue is open Monday to Friday, 11am to 7pm, though hours may shift seasonally. Free parking is available on site. It's one of the more talked-about spots across the Balearic Islands.
Rated 4.3 from 3,346 Google reviews, with 70% giving five stars. Some reviews flag billing issues at the door, so double-check your receipt when paying by card.

Ideal for watching the sunset, but it's very important to book in advance.
IF YOU PAY BY CARD, REQUEST COPIES We visited the restaurant on July 7, 2024, influenced by its reputation. We only went to the terrace, not the restaurant itself. It's not bad. It's exactly as it appears in the photos. After some time, I've decided to write this review because something rather curious happened to us. We believe it's fair for anyone reading this review, whether staff or any potential customers, to take it into account. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 very young children. Adults pay €15 per drink upon entry (children 6 years and older, I believe, pay €12. I'm not entirely sure about this since it wasn't our case). You have to pay before entering the terrace. We were attended to at reception by a waitress/receptionist named MELISA*. Minutes before we paid, the waitress/receptionist, MELISA*, kept asking us if the children didn't want anything. She didn't ask just once, but several times. Odd, because I don't think 2-3 year olds would ask for Coca-Cola or any other drinks. I asked her if we could buy drinks separately inside (I was thinking of getting water for the little ones just in case), and she said yes. When we paid for the four adult tickets, the waitress/receptionist, MELISA*, didn't show us the card reader screen; she was covering it, which was strange. My husband asked for a copy, something he doesn't usually do. But he noticed something odd and asked for it. The waitress/receptionist, MELISA*, seemed nervous and absentminded, and said yes. Something didn't add up with the copy of the receipt. Four tickets for €90? I told you they were €15 each, right? So, that's what didn't make sense to us. Not even with the child's ticket price, which she might have mistakenly included (mind you, if she said, "Sorry, I made a mistake," I'd say it was fine and leave it at that). But no, that wasn't the case. We told her she'd charged us €30 extra. She just acted surprised with a "Oh, well, I don't know." We said, "You'll give us a refund, right?" And she, again with her usual probing manner, blurted out, "Well, it can't be refunded to the card. I can only give it to you in cash." How suspicious, to say the least. Since when can't you refund money to the card you pay with? Anyway, she gave us the money back in cash, and that was that. She didn't even say "I'm sorry for the mistake" or anything. Not even look at us. No apology, no greeting. Quite a rude gesture, to be honest. Anyone can make a mistake, and if she had told us, it would have been totally understandable. But why did you cover the card reader screen? What if we hadn't noticed? What would have happened? €30 in the pocket... How many other customers would she do or will do the same to? I want to believe it's not something she or the rest of the staff usually do. Swindling, stealing... it's wrong. It doesn't matter if they're locals, foreigners... But just in case, ALWAYS ASK FOR A COPY. *I know her name is MELISA because when we went to ask for it, another man was asking her. She gave her name because she was the one trying to scam us, not another employee. In our opinion, she was quite rude. That's why I want to address this case individually. If you want proof that everything is true, we have photos and bank statements.
