Spiler Beach Club is the beachfront venue at Kempinski Hotel Bahía in Estepona, on the Costa del Sol. It's open to day visitors as well as hotel guests, on the Cadiz road about 10km west of Marbella.
The outdoor pool is the main draw. Sunbeds, hammocks, and umbrellas line the poolside and lawn. The atmosphere is casual, with a crowd that leans toward families and hotel guests. There's a grass area where kids can run around, plus high chairs in the restaurant and a dedicated children's menu.
Prices are hotel-level, and guests mention the cost regularly. Day passes are available. Reservations are worth booking ahead in summer. It's open daily from 11am to 6pm, with free parking on site.
Rated 4.3 from 145 reviews, with around 70% giving five stars. Service gets mainly good marks, though a handful of guests report inconsistent attention. There's a small cluster of one-star reviews around food and service, so it's not uniformly excellent.
The restaurant focuses on seafood and Mediterranean plates. Lunch is the most popular meal, though breakfast, brunch, and dinner are all on offer. Being part of a Kempinski hotel means the kitchen has more range than a typical beach snack bar.
Wine features prominently across reviews. Cocktails, coffee, beer, and hard spirits round out the bar, with cocktails and coffee both getting specific praise from guests. There's a salad bar alongside the main menu, with vegetarian options available too.
Late-night food is listed as an offering, though day passes run until 6pm. For day visitors, lunch is the main window.
It sits at €€, but expect hotel-level pricing in practice. Guests mention the cost more than almost any other topic, so factor that in. Day passes are available for non-hotel guests.
Yes, reservations are accepted. Booking ahead is recommended in summer, particularly if you're coming as a family or want guaranteed poolside sunbeds.
Spiler Beach Club is open every day of the week from 11am to 6pm.
It's one of the more family-oriented options on the Costa del Sol. The grass lawn gives kids space to play without disturbing other guests. The restaurant has high chairs and a children's menu, and staff are noted for being attentive to families with toddlers.
Free parking is available on site, with plenty of space. The venue is also fully wheelchair accessible, covering the entrance, parking, restrooms, and seating areas.

The food was full of olive oil and watery. I had a very bad experience with no service at all.
We had day passes to the beach club with two adults and two toddlers. This was a perfect spot for a relaxing day by the pool and beach. Really good location for children too as plenty of space for them to play on the grass without disturbing other people. The staff were so friendly and attentive, brought extra umbrellas for shade for the children and serving us drinks to the loungers. Lunch was really good and again very child friendly, really good child menu and delicious adult food. The setting is beautiful and very peaceful. We will definitely be back.
