Alabardero Beach Club Marbella is a seafront Andalusian restaurant and beach club on the Marbella coast. It sits right on the sand, with a garden terrace facing the Mediterranean. The vibe is casual and family-friendly rather than flashy.
Sunbeds and umbrellas line the beach, the terrace fills with groups and tourists through the day, and there's live music most evenings. A spa is on-site too, so you can make a full day of it.
It's open daily from 9am to 11pm, covering breakfast through dinner. Reservations are recommended for lunch and dinner, especially on Fridays. Prices are mid-range, with free parking on-site and on the street. Dogs are welcome outside, and there's a kids' menu with high chairs.

Paella is the main draw. It's what guests talk about most, and the kitchen takes it seriously. The wider menu covers rice specialities including arròs a banda, arroz negro, and fideuà, plus seafood plates like anchovies, calamari, and sea bass.
Every Friday the restaurant runs an all-you-can-eat rice buffet for €27 per person. You get up to 8 rice varieties, starters, and dessert. It's the busiest day here by some margin.
The bar is well-stocked. Beer, cocktails, wine, and coffee all get good marks from regulars. There's also a breakfast and brunch menu if you want to start the day at the beach.

Glamorous Puerto Banús location with stunning views and luxury amenities

We were really looking forward to going back, as our first experience there was fantastic, but this time it was nothing like it. We ordered tuna tartare and they didn't have it, we ordered anchovies which we had to send back because they tasted bad (at least two days old), the black rice was salty and still quite firm, and finally, wanting to leave with something sweet, it was a disappointment too. They didn't have the brownie we had ordered, so we ordered a chocolate mousse, and you can judge for yourselves what it tasted like... In short, a terrible experience. I don't know if I've just been unlucky, or if the quality of this restaurant has noticeably declined.
Love this place..stopped for a beer and ended up painting a group of friends having a chilled moment
