Kai Club Restaurante Beach Club is on the Atlantic waterfront in Patalavaca, on Gran Canaria's southwest coast. It's a pool-and-beach setup with a restaurant and bar, popular with tourists, families, and groups looking for a full day out.
The pool is the main draw. You'll find sunbeds and hammocks around it, with direct access to the beach below. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, and it's a genuinely welcoming spot for families and LGBTQ+ visitors alike.
Sunbeds run on a minimum spend model. Expect to put at least €35 per person toward food and drinks during the day, paid before you leave. Reservations are required, so book ahead. Free parking is on site, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
Rated 4.3 from 662 reviews, with 63% leaving five stars. A minority flag food quality and value as weak points, and a menu change in early 2026 has drawn some sharper criticism since then.
The kitchen runs from brunch through to dinner. It's a bar and grill format with small plates, a salad bar, and a decent range of vegetarian options. Table service is available throughout the day.
Cocktails and coffee are what guests mention most. The broader drinks list covers beer, wine, and spirits, and the bar is a genuine highlight even when the food divides opinion.
Food scores have been mixed recently. The menu changed in early 2026 and not all guests have welcomed it. If the restaurant is your main reason for visiting, it's worth checking current offerings before you go.

The new menu is terrible, a real shame considering how wonderful this place used to be for spending the day and enjoying quality food. As of March 16, 2026, I'm leaving with a huge disappointment.
Nice place by the beach. Nice to have the opportunity to secure your own sunbed with service straight to your bed throughout the day. Here we were able to rent towels and beds "for free" if we spent 35 euros per guest during the day. You paid the bill before you went. There was a large pool on site and there was access to the beach below. When we were there there was some construction work in the neighboring building which caused some noise, this was of course unfortunate, but not something Kai Club can be blamed for. The food was a bit tasteless, but otherwise quite ok. The drinks were significantly better. All in all it was a relaxing alternative to the beach and a good choice.
