Shafire Beach Club & Nautic

We just got out of there in a hurry, thanks to the rude guy behind the bar, the only man working. We sat down at a table with other people for a glass of wine. Everyone else left, and one other person and I stayed, intending to have a meal. I went up to the bar and asked this guy if we could get something to eat. He said yes, I asked for a menu, and he told me to ask the two waitresses who were serving. The place had about five completely empty tables. I tried to make eye contact with the waitresses, but after more than 15 minutes, I couldn't even get them to understand our intention to stay for a meal. I went back to the bar and told the guy that I couldn't get through to them and asked if I could order from him at the bar because it was almost 3:15. That's when his rudeness started. He told me that if I didn't have a reservation, I couldn't demand anything! I told him that if we couldn't order food without a reservation, he should have told me. Earlier, he told me that I was the one demanding to be served immediately. I told him that I had only asked if I could order what we wanted at the bar and that he, and only he, was being rude; I hadn't said a word to the waitresses. And naturally, we left. Rude, arrogant character. Terrible service. This summer, several things have happened to us, like them not having draft beer, no tapas (I never demand them, but if they're offered to some and not others), waiting more than half an hour to be served... It's a shame about the place, but what bothers me most is that a character like this always thinks he has the right to speak like that to someone who doesn't know us and isn't being rude to him.

A 4-year-old girl burns herself with boiling milk, which was supposed to be lukewarm, and the owner of the establishment confronts us with a cocky attitude and laughs. I won't say anything about the slow service or the rudeness of one of the waitresses, because I think it's common knowledge. I hope it changes hands and we can once again enjoy such a special place.
