Finca Cortesin Beach Club is the beachfront arm of the five-star Finca Cortesin resort, on a quiet stretch of coast near Bahía de Casares. It sits off the N-340, well south of the Marbella crowds, and it feels like it.
The pool is the centrepiece. Premium sunbeds and hammocks line the deck, and a DJ keeps things moving through the afternoon. The vibe is romantic and trendy but still casual. Groups and couples mix easily.
This is a fine dining beach club. Lunch and dinner come with full table service, and the cocktails and coffee both get singled out by guests. Expect to spend €100+ per person. Price is the thing reviewers talk about most, and some feel it's steep for what you get.
Book ahead. Reservations are accepted, and it's the kind of place that fills up. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 7pm. Closed Mondays.
Rated 4.5 from 80 reviews, with the vast majority being five stars. Service can slow down when larger groups arrive at once, but very few guests leave unhappy.
The kitchen runs fine dining with a focus on lunch and dinner. Desserts round out the menu. Reviews highlight the food quality, with detailed ratings hitting 4 to 5 out of 5.
Cocktails are the main draw at the bar, and the wine list backs them up. Coffee is surprisingly good for a beach club, and it gets called out as a highlight. Beer, hard liquor, and sangria are all on the list too.
Everything is outdoor seating with table service. It's not a grab-and-go setup. Plan for a proper sit-down meal.
It's firmly in the luxury bracket at €100+ per person. That covers food, drinks, and use of the pool and sunbed area. Price comes up often in reviews, and a few guests feel it's high for what's offered. If you're coming from the resort, you'll already know the price tier.
Yes. The club accepts reservations, and you should book ahead, especially on weekends. You can call them on +34 952 89 72 96 or book through the Finca Cortesin website.
There's a resident DJ playing through the day. It's background-level, not a party scene. The atmosphere stays relaxed and conversation-friendly.
Yes. The venue has wheelchair accessible entrances and restrooms. It's one of the few beach clubs in the area with full accessibility.

We visited the Finca Cortesín Beach Club in Casares today, three of us. Positive aspects: The location is truly privileged, with a very well-kept and pleasant atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and the food was well-prepared and of good quality. Improvements: When a group of diners arrived at the same time, the service seemed somewhat overwhelmed. There was, for example, an incident with wasps on several tables that caused some disorganization. Furthermore, small details such as a salt mill that didn't work (despite containing quality salt) weren't addressed. Nor was there any final gesture from the front of house, something that would have been expected in an establishment of this level. Positive aspects: The setting and experience are special, but the place is difficult to access, and the prices are excessive for what is offered. It seems they're targeting a very specific audience. A visit once in a lifetime is fine, but it's not a place you'd want to return to often, even if you have the resources. Because the important thing isn't just spending money, but having a truly memorable experience. Ps...way, way, way too expensive for what's actually offered.
